Commercial insulation contractor · Est. Maryland
Aries Insulation installs fiberglass, board glass and mechanical insulation in commercial buildings across Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Washington DC. New construction, existing buildings and renovations — we insulate the pipe and duct that keeps the building running.
What we install
Every service below is commercial scope. If it carries chilled water, hot water, steam, refrigerant or conditioned air, it needs to be insulated — and it needs to be insulated correctly, or the system pays for it for the next twenty years.

Fiberglass pipe insulation with ASJ, PVC or aluminum jacketing on chilled water, heating hot water, domestic water, steam and refrigerant lines.

DetailsWho we work with
We are a small shop, and we like it that way. General contractors bring us in as the insulation sub. HVAC companies hand off the pipe and duct behind their installs. Owners and property managers call us directly when insulation has failed in a building they have to keep running.
Bid invites & site walks · 410-716-8746We work to your schedule, not ours. Rough-in when the mechanical trades are ready, trim-out when the ceilings close, and a clean site at the end of every day. We carry our own scope from submittals through punch list.
You install the equipment and the ductwork; we insulate the pipe and duct behind it. We can mobilize after your crew, work around your sequence, and keep the vapor barrier continuous so the system performs the way it was designed.
Failed, wet or crushed insulation costs you energy every month and hides the pipe underneath. We remove it, inspect what is exposed, and re-insulate the line — phased in sections so an occupied building stays running.
Project types
The insulation scope changes with the building. So does the schedule, the access and how careful we have to be with what is already running.

02 / 03Mechanical rooms, chases and above-ceiling work in buildings that are already in service. We work around your tenants and your operating hours.

Why Aries
Insulation is unglamorous work, and it is easy to do badly. Seams taped properly, jacketing cut to the actual pipe, the vapor barrier left continuous — that is the difference between a system that performs and one that gets torn out in five years. We are a small business, so the person who bids your job is the person who stands behind it.
Small
You talk to the person doing the work. One crew, one point of contact, no layers between the field and the office.
Commercial
We do commercial buildings — not residential. Mechanical rooms, plant rooms, ductwork and pipe runs are the whole job.
